Ruby goes to Haskins Garden Centre, Ferndown

Ruby was invited for Festive Afternoon Tea at Haskins with The Bournemouth Bloggers.

Cream tea was served in The Ceder Room.

Walking around the Christmas Decoration Department I came across some wonderful gifts to add to Rubys Christmas Wish List:-

VWCampervan & VWBeetle Christmas Ornamental Lights

Ruby Penguin Bauble

Cute Dancing Christmas Puppy (James Brown Style)

Vintage Carousel & Ballroom Ornaments

Ruby loves independant businesses and having had such a lovely afternoon delved into Haskins History –

“The name Haskins was first connected with Dorset horticulture in 1882 when Harry Haskins founded a nursery in Poole”

Today Harry Haskins’ great grandson Warren Haskins is Chairman of Haskins Garden Centres having took over the nursery business at the age of 20 following the death of his father.

Thank you Haskins and Liz Lean PR for your teams hospitality a fun afternoon and for my “Christmas Star” gift to Celebrate National Poinsettia Day on Tuesday 12th December 2018

Ruby looks forward to visiting Haskins again soon.
